Windows 11 v.24H2

Lenovo T-16 laptop connected to printer via USB cable

I have downloaded the drivers, software and manual. I made sure I did not connect the usb cable until I had downloaded the drivers and software first.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled drivers several times, and restarted my laptop several times, restarted the printer several times. The printer shows up in my devices list.

With all this, I can't for the life of me get it to print. I am able to print out test prints. But I can't get it to print any documents I have on my computer. Tried to print an email attachment...nothing. There are print jobs listed in the print queue from all my attempts at printing, and when I select the option to resume a print job nothing happens.

I am at my wits end.

Do I have to be using BOTH a usb cable AND ethernet cable to connect to my PC?

So I finally got basic printing features back using a usb cable. However, I want to be able to connect using wifi.

I figured out that my problem was that I haven't been able to print using wifi since getting a new router. The only way to connect to the new one is through the initial set up menu on the touch screen control panel. Yet I am unable to do that because everything I try to do on the control panel is blocked by a login prompt for a system manager ID and PIN. I do not have these, as I by-passed these on initial set up last year. I need to be able to get through to the initial set up menu, either that or do a factory reset.
If anyone knows how to do either of these please let me know.
