Hi everyone. I have an issue with a Canon printer model mf642cdw which was connect to wifi for the past year and working fine. I haven't changed any settings, but now it is not connected to wifi and when i try to connect to the network on the printers screen, it says It can’t connect to my internet with the following message:

Could not connect. Make sure the security settings configured for the device and the access point are the same.

What do I need to do?

Greetings ,

The MF642Cdw supports a 2.4 GHz broadcast that supports WPA2 encryption.  Please ensure your network meets these requirements.

Wireless Setup for the imageCLASS MF746Cdw, MF745Cdw, MF743Cdw, MF741Cdw, MF644Cdw, MF642Cdw, MF641Cw, and LBP664Cdw - (Contains Video) https://share.google/O88XIut5AWkEUAYVU

Things that might cause issues:

Using the same SSID name on a dual or tri-band router.

Specifying and incorrect encryption type WPA3 versus WPA2.
