imageCLASS MF227dw: iOS 18 AirPrint problem

My Imageclass 227dw laser printer worked great with iPhone and iPad until iOS 18 update.  My devices show my printer in the print window, but when I click “print”, the window goes away and nothing prints.  Apple tech tells me they’ve recorded numerous complaints about this problem with Canon printers.  Any known fixes out there?

Add/Switch tab, Register Printer button, If Printer Cannot Be Found button, Yes button, Manual Search button, enter it into that field.

Got it. Thank you. Printer registered now, and I was able to print from my ipad. Now working in the iphone printing.
