Hi there,
I'm in a frustrating situation...I've been using a Canon 3100 via wifi to my iMac for the past 9-10 months.. it's all worked well... up until suddenly the printer can no longer be found... I've tried turning the printer and computer off, sorting re-booting, but this hasn't worked... and yet the blue wifi light on the printer is still active... there's absolutely no connection though.... I've also been using this very same printer on an old PC via USB cable, and this still works... so, the issue is certainly the wifi connection, but exactly what? Are these models prone to failing with wifi, or is it a bad configuration with Apple or something? Yes, I can still print on my PC, but that's not the point... I'm generally an Apple guy, and don't want to keep switching back to PC every time I need something printed or scanned. Any assistance or advice would be really welcome.
