Windows 11 update broke imageCLASS MF212w scanning ability.

I tried 4.9.11 scan tool but it won't install or uninstall correctly b/c of some win 11 update.  I then tried mf scan tool but no driver is supported for the mfc212w printer.  MICROSOFT STOP BREAKING THINGS!!! 😠  I need my scanner I paid for to work!

I understand you're using your mf212w with Windows 11. 

How is the printer connected and to what?

 The following drivers are needed for printing and scanning. 

[Windows 64bit] imageCLASS MF217w/MF216n/MF212w MFDrivers (UFR II / FAX / ScanGear)

Note: If you are connecting the printer via USB, it is important that you not connect the USB cable to your printer until prompted to do so by the installation utility.  

If this is applicable to your situation and you connected the cable before running the installation utility, you will need to delete the printer from your system , restart your computer and perform installation again using the recommended steps. 

Once the printer is correctly installed, you can install the MF toolbox.
