Will Scan but Printer stays off-line : MF741Cdw

EVERY single time I want to use my printer (6 months now) I have to reset my network settings and start over. So, what should be a 'command print' on my Mac turns into 30 minutes of fussing with setting for one copy, EVERY TIME. The scanner works fine, but the printer is always offline.  I know it's capable of communicating, what it going on? I'm ready to return this printer.

Ok so I'm back. I just reinstalled the drivers and reset the wifi (again).

Apple M3 Max  using OS 15.5 (24F74)

I can never just use 'command P' and it work. This printer will not stay connected to my computer. Both are on the only network in my home office. Both have good WIFI signals. I turned printer network sharing on for good measure.

My printer says it is offline in the 'print center app' on my computer.  This is years of frustration. WHY WHY WHY does it not want to connect?
