Hi, installed a new Canon MG6350 printer, using Wifi, works fine. However, I cannot get MS Paint to scan from it. Tried reinstalling, obtaining drivers from Canon's website, etc. However, when I plugged in the printer to the laptop (Windows 7 x64), scanning from Paint worked fine (WIA driver listed in the list of scanners in Acrobat as well). However, when I unplugged it, it did not work from Wifi which is what I need it to do.
I would be most grateful for assistance with this as it's driving me batty, thanks.

Hi, I figured this out finally, thought I'd share the solution.
How to get scanner working in Paint
Install printer normally.
Open “Devices and Printers”
Click on “Add a Printer”
Install new printer using details of the one already installed
New printer with the designation “WS” will be installed
Scanner from Paint will now work
