My trusty MG6220 printer has stopped working as a scanner. I print to it just fine via WiFi from 4 Win10 computers & a couple of iPhones. I suspect a troublesome Windows update, but don't have hard evidence. I have tried deleting all the old Canon drivers & reinstalling. Nope!
I have turned off all firewalls. Nope!
BTW, reinstalling always fails because the install program can't find the printer. Yet I can ping it's IP address, and I can print to it just fine, but as a scanner it's a ghost.
What a hassle. Anybody run into this & fixed it? I've wasted the afternoon trying to solve the glitch!

Hello BobbyF. Thanks for letting us know what Canon product you've got. The PIXMA MG6220 is an older model which we have retired. While that means that Canon USA no longer offers direct support for it, your friends here in the Canon Community are welcome to offer suggestions!
You can also speak with a Canon Upgrade Program specialist to help you find a modern replacement that would meet your current needs at a discount. You can reach them weekdays and Saturdays at 1-866-443-8002.
Hope this helps!
