Selphy CP910 Solution Disk doesn't work with OS 10.9.2 - please advise

The driver CD isn't recognized by OSX.9.2

 

I don't know what a "WPS Access Point" is nor how to access.

 

Please advise.

Hi julesmac,

 

The lastest driver for your SELPHY CP910 is available for download from Canon's web site.  To download and install the driver from Canon's web site, please follow these steps:

 1.  Visit Canon's website at:    http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/support/consumer

 2.  Type SELPHY CP910 in the "Enter Your Model Name" box and click GO.

 3.  On the Support page for your unit, click the 'Drivers & Software' link in the middle of the page.

 4.  Under Recommended For You, please click on the SELPHY CP910 Printer Driver.

 5.  If you agree, please select the check box next to "I have read and agree to the terms of the Disclaimer and wish to continue with the download".

 6.  Click on the Download button.

 7.  The file will be downloaded.

 8.  Once the download is complete, open your Downloads folder.

 9.  Double click [cp800-810-820-900-910os-x-063.dmg.gz] to install the printer driver.

Files will extract, follow the prompts to complete installation.

 

WPS refers to a type of wireless installation.  The WPS button would be located on your router (if equipped).  If you are attempting to use your SELPHY CP910 wirelessly, please follow these steps to connect it to your network:

 

 1.  Remove any inserted card or USB memory.

 2.  Press the Menu button.

 3.  Press the up or down button to select [Wi-Fi Settings] and press the OK button.

 4.  Press the up or down button to select [Connection Settings], then press the OK button.

 5.  Make sure that the Canon CP910 is selected and press the OK button.

 6.  Press the up or down button to select [Via Wi-Fi Network], then press the OK button.

 7.  Press the up or down button to select [Search for an access point], and then press the OK button.

 8.  Press the up or down button to select your access point, and then press the OK button.

 9.  Press the EDIT button to display the screen to enter characters and enter the encryption key.  Please view the attached image for further detail.

10.  Press the OK button.

11.  the SELPHY CP910 will be connected to your access point.  Press the OK button.
