Hello: I have an IMAC and have been scanning from my Pixma MX 922 successfully using Image Capture on my IMAC. Everything was working fine and then I changed the Ink Cartridges and downloaded new drivers from the printer. From this point Image Capture didn't work as it used to. When I tried to scan an image, Image Capture opened but was not populated with any scanning settings-just blank. When I closed the Image Capture app open in my Dock r and then went into the Applications folder and re-opened Image Capture, I then saw all the scanning settings and could scan. Then I was troubleshooting this issue on this site to see if I get a more permanent solution and found something that I thought was a fix--it was a reply from expert Patrick to someone else who was having a similar scanning issue with a MX922. I followed Patrick's advice and went into Library/ Image Capture/Devices and removed all references to Canon products and a reference to an Epson printer. I then downloaded this driver to my computer from the Canon site: mnt_-mac-4...-ea21_3.dmg. I went back to Image Capture thinking that may have solved my issue. In fact, Image Capture now does not work at all and I am seeking help fixing this issue. l think I may need to delete the driver I added and add back some other drivers that I deleted. But I don't know how. Would very much appreciate step by step help and direction as now I can't scan at all. FYI printing function is fine. Thank you
