I have the MF-455DW printer/scanner. I have installed the drivers and the MF Scan Utility and am connected via WIFI. The printer works fine, however, when scanning either from the printer or from the Scan Utility, I get the error box: ScanGear MF: Cannot communicate with the scanner. The cable may be disconnected, or the scanner may be turned off. Check the scanner status and try again. Scanner driver will be terminated. Note that I get the same error on the computer in either case - initiating from the computer or the printer.
Can anyone please provide some help?

How in the world is this going to be fixed? I cannot use my scanner but I can print
All I get is error 208
Tried a million different attempts to install drivers but it never actually fixes anything.
Something to do with wifii but beyond that I am clueless.

HA get this
If I go into control Panel View devices and printers Then select the Cannon Printer then
More devices and printer settings
I can right click my device
select start scan
and it works!
What this means is its not windows but is your stupid drivers.

I CANNOT GET MINE TO SCAN **bleep** . . . I REALLY DISLIKE CANON PRODUCTS NOW.
