Professional Print & Layout is some of the worst software I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Can anyone recommend an alternative way to print to my Canon imagePro 2100? I've wasted far too much time, ink and printer paper dealing with Canon's terrible printing program. Time to change.

Absolutely!
I have used Qimage One for Mac for many years. A tiny leaning curve, and a very powerful program. The developers provide great customer service if you run into problems... usually user error as you get familiar with the interface. Superb image quality. Learn more here and download a demo, Mac or Windows. For Windows there is also a fuller featured Qimage Ultimate. I recommend the lifetime license.

Qimage works much better than Canon's Professional Print & Layout. Thank you for the referral.
