The laptop OS is Windows 7. The connection works properly for several days. Then suddenly I get the message 'the printer is offline', even though the printer does work with other PCs via Wifi. The only fix I've found is to remove the printer from the list of printers and add it again.
It is here that I now have a new difficulty: Over multiple attempts, Windows no longer finds the printer, even though other PCs do have the communication via Wifi. Then suddenly, after several days, the search for the printer is successful, I am then able to load the driver and resume printing. And the cycle is repeated.
Could this have anything to do with the management of cookies by any chance?
Thanks to anyone for advice.
