Hello therock860.

Basic directions for the wireless setup may be found at the following link:  https://support.usa.canon.com/kb/index?page=content&id=ART166332

The wireless setup typically requires the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY app, which is available, free of charge, in the Google Play Store.

If connecting to a network, ensure the router is open to new devices connecting.  If the printer has been a different room from the router or access point, try moving the printer closer (no nearer than 2 ft).  If you're phone is on a 5G wifi connection, switch it to your network's 2.4 GHz (standard) wifi connection, then try the connection process again.

If you need immediate assistance with this issue, please contact us using the numbers and information at http://Canon.us/ContactLI
