Pixma MG3560 printer will not connect wireless to either network or android device. Please help

I hav e purchased a new wirless printer Pixma MG3560,

I have plugged it in and followed all the instruction but it will not connect to the wireless network. My computer and my Android smart phone show that the print is not connected.

I have connected directly to my pc using cable connect and this works but when installing the software it stops at obtaining an IP address on the netwrok.

Modem is a netgear

I am having this same problem and have no idea what to do.
