Pixma 2522 Printer Driver for Mac OS Monterey 12.6

I just purchased an iMac and would like to continue using my current Canon PIXMA 2522 printer, but can't seem to find a printer driver to download specific to the operating system on this new computer. It has MAC OS Monterey 12.6. Does a driver exist for it yet that I can download without having to buy a new printer?

The printer and scanner driver for your PIXMA MG2522 are available for download from the Support Page of the PIXMA MG2522.

You can access that page by using this link:

Once on that page, click on Downloads at the top of the page and the available downloads will appear.  The printer driver is named "MG2522/MG2525 CUPS Printer Driver Ver.16.40.1.0 (Mac)".
