PIXMA TS5160 Unable to connect via smartphone or Wi-Fi

I have been trying to update the LAN settings on my printer for a couple of weeks now. I am unable to connect via smart phone or Wifi and I’m ready to fix it with a long handled sledge hammer!

I have been unable to comment or reply to posts in your forums because I wasn’t registered and it then needed to validate my email (that took forever to arrive in my spam folder).

I have followed your instructions, I have followed similar thread advice and I’m done!!! Your product and your assistance site are awful to navigate, your app is useless! Canon TS5160 is a **bleep**ing paperweight!!!!

Finding support for a basic home printer for someone outside of the USA is near impossible! I will NEVER recommend a canon to anyone, your support is the worst! 

I honestly cannot believe connecting my printer to my home network can be this difficult! I will NOT spend any more of my time on chasing a product that cares naught about their non American clientele.
