PIXMA TR7820 How to scale document size via Canon Print app

I can't seem to get my printer to enlarge a document. Online tells me to pinch and zoom on the app but when I do that the next button disappears and the plus and minus magnifying glass appears. When I pinch to the size I want I can't get the next button to come back so I can't print. When I print on legal size paper it prints the same size as standard. I'm trying to make documents fit to page on legal. I've searched and searched online and nothing works. Half of the advice isn't even an actual function. There's no scale to size in the app settings. I'm pretty convinced there's no way to enlarge a document size and print it at this point. Please tell me I'm wrong and give me the solution

What is the version and build of the operating system you are using in the printer with? 

What app are you trying to use to pinch and zoom?

Oh, sorry about that. I'm using the Canon print app on my Samsung Galaxy s25 phone with current updates. I also sometimes use my iPad and it's the same issue.
