Canon TR150: When trying to access the webpage for its UI, I get a "This Connection is Not Safe" warning from Google. Anyone know about this or of an alternative?

Greetings ,

This is nothing to be concerned about.  You will receive this warning message when using any modern browser.

This is because the printers webserver is using http (unencrypted) communication vs. https (encrypted) communication.  Traffic between your web browser and your printer does not need to be encrypted.  The traffic is not being sent somewhere where it can be intercepted or read.

A good browser will always warn If this security standard is not met.

Hi AlexVoe,

On the page that appears, do you have "Advanced" or "Continue anyway"?

If you are using Windows, please try using the Edge web browser.  If using a Mac, please try using Safari instead.

Thanks for responding. I think it had “Continue Anyways”, but I wonder if that’s wise. Not on Windows & i am using Safari….
