I'm printing with a Canon MX925.
Printing Word documents or Excel-sheets are very poor print quality. Word documents are partially printed and the characters are not readable. Excel tables become wavy.
If I convert the same document to PDF, the print is perfect.
Printing photos via Adobe Photoshop is also perfect.
All printer testing, cleaning and alignment has already been carried out.

The printer has dye ink cartridges for photos and non-text documents and a pigment black cartridge for text documents.
Sounds like your problem is with the pigment cartridge printing.
Have you run a nozzle check after cleaning?

Dear John, thanks for your reply.
I don't think this is the cause.
a Word document with images or an Excel sheet with a graph are unreadable. The same documents in PDF are printed out perfectly.

Sounds like it is an MS problem then. When you say Office 365 are you using individual software applications downloaded to computer or an online version?
I subscribe to Office 365 but the apps are on my computer. I have no issues with printing. (Do not have your printer but has have had multiple Canon printers and never had a printing problem with MS).
