Hi there
Printer/Scanner was working fine. Needed to change network name and password due to hack. Unable to get printer reconnected to new network. Presently have a cable between PC and printer, but printer doesn't seem to want to be recognized by software.
I'm thinking perhaps I just need to perform a factory reset and start over, but haven't yet discovered how.

Hi Magus.
If you are using Windows, directions for the WiFi setup using USB may be found at the following article:
https://support.usa.canon.com/kb/index?page=content&id=ART169086
In Mac OS, you may do this by opening the Canon IJ Network Tool (Applications \ Canon Utilities \ IJ Network Tool), and click on the drop-down in the top-left corner of the window, selecting Setup.
If you are using Android or iOS, you have the option of the Cableless Setup:
https://support.usa.canon.com/kb/index?page=content&id=ART162917
If your access point (/ wifi router / wifi modem) features a working WPS button, you may try the WPS Push-button setup:

If you need immediate assistance with this issue, please contact us using the numbers and information at http://Canon.us/ContactLI
