PIXMA MG2522 software install not working

I am having trouble installing the software on my laptop for the printer.  Every time I enter the install program it takes me to the windows install program not the canon install program.  I have deleted everything I can find for the printer and tried reinstalling and it just keeps bringing up the windows printer install window.  Can someone please help me get the driver installed so my printer will work.   Thanks for any help

I am running windows 11s and I just figured out apparently it doesn't like it because it isn't a windows program is there a workaround?

I figured out how to get out of S mode and it worked correctly problem solved
