PIXMA G620 - make copies from PC

rocksam

My Pixma mega tank G620 is inconveniently placed to see its small screen. Is there any way to make a copy and its settings from a Win 10 PC? Once I somehow, by pushing buttons of the printer, accidentally called up an app that did exactly that and did make a copy, but the software closed as soon as the copy started and I've never found it again, I sometimes wonder if I imagined the whole thing. Anyway, it would seem making copies should be something it should do. Is there any way to do this?

Hi rocksam,

To perform a copy with your PIXMA G620, please follow the steps on this page:

G600 series Manual > Copying > Making Copies

Scanning and saving to your computer by using your PIXMA G620's Operation Panel can be viewed here:

G600 series Manual > Scanning > Scanning from Operation Panel

Thank you for your answer, but it's not want I need. I guess I wasn't clear. I want an app to make copies on the G620 from the PC screen, just as you can make scans from the PC screen with the U Scan Utility. My printer is located on a shelf and with the printer screen on top instead of the front, it's quite inconvenient to make copies. A PC app that includes all the printer panel functions would seem to be easy and obvious to have been included, and as I mentioned. somehow I believe one actually appeared from the playing with the printer screen. Yes, I can scan from the PC and then print the scan, but the print from scan is not as color accurate as the direct copy print, probably because a display app is used between scan and print. Regardless, direct copy from the PC should have been included. Canon supplies such and app for phones an tablets, but there are a lot of PCs out there,
