New PIXMA TR8620a printer on Wi-Fi question, how to set up network access

I just purchased a tr8620a printer to replace my old tr8500 printer. I completed the setup through the Canon website and the printer works fine from my PC. I would like any PC on my network to be able to use the printer and even guests perhaps. Do I have to run the install drivers on all devices that want to connect to the printer or is there and installation procedure to simply allow any device on the network to connect?

I am not aware of any way to do that without having the driver on each computer.
