MG5600 Printer Canon iphone app asking for qr code can't find

Downloaded iphone Canon app for print & scan. It's asking for either the QR code to scan or the Connection Code.

I cannot locate anything to print from the cloud settings on my printer.

I need to have this work soon as I am going to be working on the road and taking my printer and I don't have time to mess around with the clients networking issues ect.

Where is this located??

Hi joanwilkins,

The Canon Print and Scan app is not compatible with the PIXMA MG5600 series printer.  Instead, we recommend using the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY app, available for download from the Apple app store.  Once the app is downloaded, please follow the steps located here to print using the app, and here to scan using the app.

This worked wonderfully! No searching for my printer or any others on my network. Needed it for a non-techy client's office printers as well as mine.
