Most of the instructions I find tell me to download and install "mac-mg2900-1_4-mcd.dmg", but this file does not work under Big Sur.
The driver download that does work does not lauch "setup", but does install the "Canon IJ Network Tool".
This tool, however, does not display any of the screens I see in the documentation.
If my printer is connected via USB, it detects the printer, but will not allow me to change anything.
I can get it to the point that I can see the printer as a possible network connection, but it asks for a password.
This is not a practical solution, anyway. I'd like to see the printer available on my network.
WPS is not available.
Any suggestions?

Thanks, but I'd already seen those instructions and they do not work with the Big Sur operating system.
I'll use the other link you provided to contact the support group.

There seems to be no way to get support other than by sitting on the phone, and the "virtual assistant" in what passes for a chat window doesn't even recognize the model number, so I'm just going to donate this printer and buy a different brand for myself.
