During wireless printing with Pixma MX860, I receive error code 300

How do I resolve error code communication error during wireless printing with the Pixma MX 860?  Operating system is Mac El Capitan.

Also, check that ink cartridges are seated properly and not close to empty. I read on line that if a cartridge is close to empty it can trigger the 300 error but not trigger the Low Ink error message.

Thanks for your reply.  Crazy small world.  My family had a summer home on Whitton Pond off of Rte. 16 between Chocorua and Conway from 1967 - 2005, on the Mudd Family's property.  Accessed via Drake's Hill Road and canoe!  My oldest son is named Whitton, to keep it all fresh.

Right. One time I had a posting from someone in the UK that had vacationed in the area and talked about a place that had the best breakfasts. It was Peaches in North Conway.
