Drivers needed for a Canon TS8320 on a Surface Pro with Windows 11 and Snapdragon ARM processor

Hi,

All drivers for the Canon TS8320 are not installing on my new Surface Pro with with Windows 11 and Snapdragon ARM processor. Has anyone found a solution to make the scanner work? Printing works and the Canon TS8320 is connected. My main reason for asking is that I used the Scan Utility in the past which doesn't install anymore. Thanks for your help.

Greetings,

Take a look at this KB article

https://support.usa.canon.com/kb/s/article/FAQ100604

There is no specific MF scan utility available for ARM,

Just had to spend $20 for phone technical support to be told Canon drivers do not support Snapdragon processors and they don't know if they will in the future.  Told them they should put that information on the product support pages for their products.  So being forced to use the Windows 11 drivers basically dumb down the Canon scanning products.  Highest resolution I can get from those drivers are 600 dpi.

I replied to your topic elsewhere.
