My new MacBook can install the print driver of imageCLASS MF4880dw and work well . However, after installing the scanning program, I cannot connect to the imageCLASS MF4880dw.
I got the driver from the link.
Both the printer driver and scanner driver show that the supported versions of the macOS are: macOS 10.12.6 - macOS 13.2.1
Can anyone advise me on this? Thank you.

Thanks for letting us know what Canon product you've got. The imageCLASS MF4880dw is an older model which we have retired. While that means that Canon USA no longer offers direct support for it, your friends here in the Canon Community are welcome to offer suggestions!
You can also speak with a Canon Upgrade Program specialist to help you score a modern replacement that would meet your current needs at a discount. You can reach them weekdays and Saturdays at 1-866-443-8002.
Hope this helps!

The support page for the MF4880dw (https://www.usa.canon.com/support/p/imageclass-mf4880dw) now shows drivers for MacOS 14 dated 04.05.24. I downloaded and installed these for the printer and the scanner. The printer works fine, but I can't find a way to get the scanner to be recognized. When I use the Canon MF Scan Utility to add the scanner via IP address and I enter the IP address shown by the MF4880dw, I'm told "The specified scanner is not supported." This seems contradictory to the existence of a downloadable scanner driver that is listed as supporting MacOS 14.
Is there really no way to use the MF4880dw scanner under MacOS 14, even though the support page for the unit makes a scanner driver for that OS available?
