CaptureOnTouch Pro - Add Spaces to Naming

MockCat

I have a scan profile which I would like to systematically name, as seen in the image below, except I would like to be able to add spaces between Scanning Name and Document Name, as well as between Document Name and Detection1. If I try to add another Character String with a single space(or any number of spaces) without any other characters on either side of the space(s), the space(s) are removed. Same goes for if I add spaces at the beginning or end of the Shortcut Name.

Before anyone suggests that I add a space to the beginning and end of Document Name, I am also using Document Name to create a folder. Windows has trouble with documents having spaces at the beginning or end.

Is there any way I can specify a space character? I understand the trouble it can cause within file naming conventions if used improperly, but in this situation those issues would not occur.

Canon is trash about answering questions on their forum. It's a simple thing they could do, and they don't bother to do it.
