Canon MX870 - Wireless Setup - Remote Desktop Connection (RDC)

Hi,

I have my printer MX870 wirelessly setup at home. When I try to install the drivers on my remote desktop at work I get a message saying "The printer cannot be found on the network".

How can I get the drivers installed on my remote computer? At work I have Win 7 Pro and at home I have Win 7 Home Premium if that helps.

Please guide me.

Unfortunately, we cannot support communication across wide area networks or VPN connections.  We would have to advise that the printer is installed on the same local network as the computer.  I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
