Hi Guys,
I am trying to set up myCanon MX7600 printer to print using a wired lan connection. I install the drivers, select from the menu new setup (wired), and it asks to plug in USB connection. I do that, and it says printer detected. It then fails to set up the networking, and comes up with a box called 'Set Printer IP address'. I can change the IP address of the printer here, and if I look at the printer LAN settings, the addresses change there also. However, in the LAN settings on the printer, it says 'Connection: Inactive', and the lights on the router where the printers ethernet plugs in are off. I have tried resetting LAN settings. It seems to me that the LAN port on the printer is turned off? How can I turn it on?
