I switched ISPs and got a new laptop. When I tried to install MX870 software, I got errors because the MP drivers installed on my new laptop were newer than those on the softtware CD. I did a custom install and did not install the MP drivers.
I've installed MP drivers, UPS drivers, MP Navaigator EX software... just about anything that looked relevant from the download URL (http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/support/consumer/printers_multifunction/pixma_mx_series/pixma_mx870).
Checking other posts, I checked my twain_32 folder, and it only has one file (wiatrain.ds) and no folders.
Scanner previously worked over wireless connection. I can print wirelessly.
Can anyone help?
