Can't get Andriod 5.0 to hook up directly to MG5520 printer

Have hooked up many Wi Fi devices to my Nexus 6 - Andriod 5.0, but can't get the MG5520 to hook up HELP please

You can connect your Android phone to the printer using Access Point mode, then use the PIXMA Printing Solutions app downloadable from the Google Play store to print directly to the printer.  For information on connecting your Android device via Access Point mode, and printing via PIXMA Printing Solutions, please click here.
