Can't get AirPrint to work on a new PIXMA TS6520

I'm setting up my new TS 6520. Everything went smoothly on the setup, says it's connected to my wi-fi, showing four bars, etc. When I try to print something, I get the "No AirPrint printers found" message. I have visited several help pages and tried a couple different things, but nothings seems to work--my phone and iPad just can't seem to find the printer. It's Saturday, so the Canon help line is closed.

I had a similar problem where my Canon PIXMA was connected to Wi-Fi and reachable by IP, but Canon PRINT/Mopria/Bonjour could not discover it.

After exhausting the normal fixes, this fixed it on my ASUS router:

LAN → IPTV → Enable efficient multicast forwarding (IGMP Snooping) → Disable

The printer immediately started advertising its Bonjour/IPP services and became discoverable.

So if the printer is definitely online but automatic discovery is broken, check your router’s IGMP Snooping / multicast optimization settings.
