HERE'S THE SITUATION:
I have two (2) computers in my home office, the first of which is right beside my Canon Pixma MP495 printer. So naturally, on this computer (desktop system, Windows 7 Pro O.S.), I use a USB cord to connect between the printer and the computer. Prints work perfectly every time with no issues.
NOW . . . on the other end of this same room (about 12 feet from the Pixma MP495 printer) is ANOTHER desktop system (Windows 10 Pro O.S.). I would like to have the ability to print from this second computer WIRELESSLY, since I prefer not to run a cord all the way across the room just to connect to the printer.
On this second computer (the one 12 feet away), I've tried the search/find method for a printer from the Control Panel; I've connected the wireless Bluetooth in Devices under Settings . . . all to no available, as the computer hasn't located this Pixma MP495 through any of these methods.
IS THIS EVEN POSSIBLE WITH THIS PRINTER? Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank you.

Hi divine,
You can use your PIXMA MP495 wirelessly with one computer and via USB with another.
To set up your PIXMA MP495 for wireless use, please follow the steps outlined in the following PDF:
