This printer is to be used in a routerless environment. Is there any way to allow the LBP622CDW to be used in AP mode without a password? From what I understand from the manual, if I don't want to connect from the panel or want to allow multiple devices to print I need to run it in AP mode. In order for it to appear on my devices I had to set a custom SSID and key then enable the feature to allow it to stay active. I would prefer not to have to use a 10 digit key everytime a new device needs to connect.

Greetings,
The manual is vague and does not specify the requirements for this.
Contact Canon Support for clarification. The 10 digit key might be required for security, but you can try a shorter key or ask Canon directly.
