I have a PIXMA MP600 printer
I have a HP computer.............I print just about every other day so I know they work together,
I was printing from the computer yesterday when I got this error code 5010.

I'm still waitng for a reply on my error code 5010 , on my Canon PIXMA MP600 (USB001) printer, it is connected to a HP computer, microsoft, I print every other day and was printing when I got the error code, I can't find this code in the quick start guide book. PLEASE help. I did unplug and re-plugged in, turned off and on several times, error code won't go away.

Please try the following to see if we can resolve your issue:
1. Turn the printer off.
2. Unplug the power from the printer for at least 5-10 minutes.
3. While unplugged, remove any paper from the unit.
4. Double check for any obstructions found in the unit or paper paths.
5. If no obstructions are found, plug the power back in and turn the unit on.
