I encountered a very interesting problem. PIXMA E460 standard setup with DHCP WiFi address; print and scan over WiFi from Mac OS no problem, I don't have windows computers
.
When setup the printer with a static IP address; printing over WiFi still works but Scanning over WiFi gives an error.
reverting back to DHCP address I can scan again over WiFi.
I have a strong believe that any network device except computers and mobile devices, should have static IP addresses. For this printer this is not possible with the latest firmware.
Anyone that has encountered this issue?
