Remote app beep/shutter noise

Using the g9x mark II with android phone as a remote, how do you mute the shutter/beep sounds made by the camera?

I have turned off/muted all sounds/shutter etc the normal way which works but not through remote shooting which continues to emit the sounds.

There must be a simple solution to this?
