Power Shot SD 750 - Black display screen when you try to take photos. How do you turn the Display on

When I attempt to take photos the display screen is black.  I can review previously taken photos.   In the Set button screen a "Display Off" icon is is displayed.  How do I turn the Display back on?

Hello Steve26,

Sorry to hear you only see a black display screen when you try to take photos.  As you have pointed out, the camera says that the display is off, we just need to turn it back on.  To do this press the DISP. button.  This toggles the various displays on or off.  If you press it twice, we believe this will turn the regular camera screen back on.
