please..how do I choose lcd instead of veiw finder on Cannon SX10si?  silly me.. thanks

If it is like my G5X, just hold it to your eye to use the vew finder, take your eye away to use the LCD.

Hi Rosie we all have those moments these cameras have lots of buttons and dials it takes a while to get familiar! 

I think you meant the SX10 IS so if I am wrong forgive me. On the back of your camera there is a Display button labeled DISP, pressing that switches it back and forth from the viewfinder to LCD etc.

It is Item 13 in the picture I attached...
