ivy CLIQ 2 Are photos automatically transferred to Canon Mini Print app?

I'm curious to know if photos taken with the Canon Ivy Cliq2+ are automatically transferred to the Canon Ivy app. If so, does this happen even if there's no printer paper available? Or is the primary purpose of the app to print pictures that are already in the camera roll?

Hi KStone! Thanks for posting in the Canon Community Forum. I see that you are wondering if you can use your IVY CLIQ 2 to take photos without loading paper.

I understand that the photos you take can appear in the Canon Mini Print app, but the camera will not function without loading paper. It is not designed to be a stand-alone camera. As a Camera Printer, it is designed to print the photos you take with it.
