Hello,
I would like to use my old Powershot SX10is as a timelapse camera. I have installed the proper firmware to allow timelapse on this camera. My question pertains to getting power to the camera using the power port.
What type of coaxial DC connector does it use? I indeed want to make my own as the camera will be set outside and powered by a 12V solar panel recharging truck batteries (output stable at 12V) and a buck downgrading the 12V to 7.2-7.4V DC in.
I would like to avoid buying a 110V DC adaptor for the camera as the connector can be bought for cheap.
also, during the wirering, I suppose that the center pin has the + polarity?
Thanks!
Cheers to all,
