I am thinking on buying a used Canon G1X (Mark 1, 2012 version) for casual shooting, because it is more portable than my 90D and has a large 1.5 sensor.
I am worried because the optical tunnel viewfinder does not have good reviews. I always prefer to use a viewfinder and not the back screen when taking pictures. My question is, will I have difficulties framing shots with the Canon G1X?
I would like to hear from someone who has first hand experience with the optical viewfinder. If the viewfinder is very difficult to work with, I may end up getting the Canon G5X with a 1 inch sensor which has an EV viewfinder.
Your thoughts would be appreciated.
Kind regards
Chris
