Hi Kevin:

The term S-series covers a wide range of cameras, from pure s to sx.  Do you have a particulary group in mind?

cheers, TREVOR

The mark of good photographer is less what they hold in their hand, it's more what they hold in their head;
"All the variety, all the charm, all the beauty of life is made up of light and shadow", Leo Tolstoy;
"Skill in photography is acquired by practice and not by purchase" Percy W. Harris

Like the S90, S100, S110

I fear that this line is likely to be in jeopardy from the erosion of the lower end of the market from high-end cell phones, using computational photography tools.

Oh yes indeed. Maybe some trickle-down from the R3, purportedly the "now" flagship? But yes, a BIGGER sensor and Mr Canon sort out the buttons - plah-ees! - Oh yeah, LANC connectivity for Video, yah know, the very basics like START, STOP, ZOOM, and maybe CLICK!
