SX260 Video ignores settings

Using a SX260 HS in manual mode.  I set the ISO, aperture, and shutter speed which affect still photos fine, but as soon as I start recording it fades into what seems like automatically chosen settings.  As a result, videos are much more exposed than I would like them to be. Are videos just more limited on this model?
