I've used this app before while out hiking two months ago, but haven't had a need to use it since until now. I'm trying to connect to my phone again, and I've got my phone and the camera on my local WiFi (not using the built-in access point, tho I was trying that originally). I'm stuck on the screen that says to open the app on my device, then, after some wait, I get the message "Device not found" on my camera. The app is open on my phone, and the easy connect guide is waiting for my camera to connect. I'm stuck here and can go no further! Please help!

Power off the modem/router then on again. Use NFC on phone to transfer image.

Hi Zombeatrice,
Thanks for posting.
Your camera uses an ad hoc connection to transfer images to Android and iOS devices, so no infrastructure (i.e. your Wi-Fi network) is required.
