Powershot ELPH 340 HS random power off

Hello Community,

I have had this camera for about 2 weeks now, and i have just got around to recording with it. but when im about 1-1 1/2 minuets into recording it will shut off on its own. I have disabled automatic shut off and i have even ordered new batteries. Neither attempt solved my issue.
