Hi
I have a SX70hs. The time between shots seems very slow. I know how to get to continuous shots, but I just want to get faster individual shots. Seems like a long pause.

What mode do you have the camera in? Perhaps a slow shutter speed is in use?
What specific SD card are you using? Perhaps the card has a slow write speed. Also, do you format the card before usage? If just deleting photos over time rather than formatting, that can lead to slower write performance.

Hi
Thank you for your quick reply.
The SD card is Kioxia -- Exceria 32gb that the camera shop gave me. I am sure it was not programmed since it went straight from the package into the camera.
I do not know anything about formating the SD card for the camera so anything that you can tell me about
1. how it helps/works
2. instructions on how to format the card
3. recommendation for a better card if you find this one lacking.
Thanks again for your help
